Processed cheese is a food product made from cheese and added emulsifiers, saturated vegetable oils, extra salt, food colorings, whey or sugar. This results in many flavors, colors, and textures of processed cheese exist.

The recommended addition rate is approximately 2.8 — 3.2 %, calculated on the raw material to be processed.
